Rosha is the first department store in Iran and its main focus is on clothing. Rosha is a collection of fashion and clothing under a roof and it has created a different method for shopping by producing an integrated space and gathering different top clothing brands. Dezhar Tarh is the architectural designer for this project, creating a modern and minimal design using new an eye pleasing materials. Designing and building of this project, containing 36000 square meters, started in August, 2013 and finished in August, 2015. Rosha contains 17 stories including:
- 10 stories parking providing more than 400 individual parking spaces.
- 5 stories shopping stores providing clothing, bags & shoes, jewelry, perfumes & cosmetics
- 1 storey gym
- 1 storey restaurant
- Roof garden
A collection (An anthology) of Iranian colors has inspired the concept design. Each one of the market places like jewelries (gold sales), copper smiths, mercers and spice sales contain their own individual property.
Also, the concept of simplicity has been used in the Rosha interior design, simplicity in the stands forms, interior plan designs, an ease in access and route selection, color transparency and an optimized utilization of light.
Since Gold has always been a favorite for women, a golden contexture and color has been used in specific details in the female store.
Copper as a resistant and efficient metal an also an appropriate color has been used for the male store. In this section, only the copper and brown color has been used.
On the ninth floor, the Iranian, Japanese and Italian restaurants are stored. Each one of the restaurants are designed by their own country’s cultural characteristics.
